Southcombe Brothers

Wednesday, April 7th, 2010

Our most recent addition to our ever expanding client base is the Stoke-Sub-Hamdon based glove manufacturer Southcombe Brothers. The company produces specialist gloves for all sectors of the military and emergency services. Aztec Media’s design for a new identity was very well received and this was quickly followed by the production of a 4 page A4 brochure illustrating Southcombe’s high end range of gloves for Fire Fighters. Deadlines were strict on this brochure as it is to be used to publicise the range at a trade show in the USA later this month.

The photography was done on site along with the printing of the final design which used a variety of finished including spot silver, mat lamination and spot UV. Our work for Southcombe now continues with the design and production of a 16 page brochure showcasing their entire range of Fire Fighting gloves.

Arada Signature Stoves

Wednesday, March 10th, 2010

Our current work for the stove manufacture Arada has recently come full circle with the completion of the new Signature stoves 6 page A4.  The brochure highlights Aarrow’s high-end ‘Signature’ range – an offspring of the Aarrow brand of stoves. Aztec Media’s first job for the company was nearly a year ago with the design and production of a 2 page A4 which was to act as an interim brochure. During the past 10 or so months we have successfully completed 3 further brochures for Arada (Aarrow, Hamlet and Villager).  Due to the market place of the Signature range, a larger print budget was allocated and this allowed us to create a visually stunning brochure with the addition of spot silver and spot UV finishing throughout.

Saucony Spring Brochure

Wednesday, March 3rd, 2010

Following the successful (and mainly sunny!) photoshoot at the Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy in early October 2009, the design of the Saucony ‘Best of Both’ brochure was recently finished. The ‘Best of Both’ brochure showcases Saucony’s spring/summer 2010 apparel and footwear. The 16 page self cover brochure illustrates the companies ever-expanding product range and colourways available through both studio and location based photography.

A print run of 250,000 copies is well underway and the vast majority of these are due to be inserted in several UK running magazines for May. These publications will include Runner’s World, Running Fitness and 220 Triathlon.  AztecMedia arrranged the photoshoot and produced the design and artwork along with the print run being printed on-site at AztecMedia head office in Yeovil Somerset.

AztecMedia Skycam Video

Friday, December 4th, 2009

The Aztec Media Skycam offers ground based aerial photography and video with an impressive height of up to 17 metres (approx 55 feet).

The applications for this service are endless – from the obvious Commercial and Residential Property Market to Sporting Events, Site Surveys, Concerts, Surveillance – in fact anything where an elevated image is needed!

The cost of the service is a fraction of that of commissioning a shot from an aeroplane or helicopter and the 4×4 on which the camera operates from allows us to get shots from the most awkward of places.

Brympton House Venue

brympton

The new owners of  Brympton D’Evercy House contacted AztecMedia wishing to produce a new website that would enhance the new facilities they now offer following their purchase of this historic building in October 2008. Main used as a Wedding venue and film location it has been opened up to the public offering Corporate days, Residential Course, Vacation and Tours.  In addition to the design, build and hosting of the website, they also commissioned us to use our Aztecmedia Skycam for elevated photographs of the estate.

“Hidden amongst thirty-three acres of glorious Somerset parkland and lakes, historic and beautiful, Brympton House opens its doors to the public for the very first time. Having recently set the scene for the BBC’s adaptation of the Henry James classic, Turn of the Screw, Brympton House encapsulates everything wonderful about British history, style and architecture. Dating back to the early thirteenth century, Brympton D’Evercy has been hidden away from the public eye; a private estate reflecting a wealth of history from some of England’s most influential eras. In preparation for its opening, Brympton House has been tastefully and sympathetically adapted by its new owners to offer a wide variety of tours, hospitality packages and educational courses to visitors and those interested in a true taste of historical English country living.”
